Most of all motives on painting are based on geometrical and floral paterns. Painter took this idea from emboidered woman oplecko (piece of clothing to cover upper arms tied in middle of chest). Romantic colour use on painting is in perfect harmony with sweet look on model´s face, evocating a lovely future feeling.  “Parta” supposed to be worn in church and on wedding in surroundings of Hriňová village. First mention of this parta was in monography of K. A. Medvecky- Detva from 1906. Older version of “parta” was made of stripes of paperboard sewn by red cloth added with red “bortňa” also with tiny glass pearls of various colours and wreath made of white cloth flowers. Back side was ended by long stripes of red, green and white coulour. It was worn till middle of 20th century. After the war it started to be very rare. This one is replica from 1980s and was used for folk shows.
