Painting is based on rose motive, which is numerously shown in decoration of “parta”. In 1920s “parta” is influenced much more by floral patterns like leaves and flowers. In folk comunity was rose understood as flower of love. Rose is also a mystical symbol of hearts pursuing for perfect love merging. “Parta” shown on painting has a hundred years and its been through reconstruction. Composed of back part named “chomla” in middle added with rosette on which were sewn small amount of money to bring a wealth to bride. Made of strong cloth shaped into heart. On heart were horizontaly sewed colourfull stripes decorated with spangles. Frontal part was crown or headband, piece of paper lined by black velvet with sewed on glass pearls. Look down and fine smile are sign of shy of young lady because usualy the weddings were set by parents and bride barely knew her future husband.
