LIŠOV
In village of Lišov in Hont region were usual black “partas” replaced by tall headband sewed on by silver glass pearls, spangles and beads. Back part was added by two pairs of red stripes connected by brooch. At a top was on headband secured tall bouquet of glass pearls of various masses and wires added with shiny spangles. In Lišov was “parta” worn since 12 year old girl as part of feast dress as symbol of maturity. Hairs under “parta” were separated through whole head by parting on both sides of parting were formed spikes named “Kochľe” and in the end was pigtail ended by stripe. “Parta” on painting came from 1910 and it is oldest recorded “parta” in this project. Authors sticked to floral motives of young ladys shroud by flowers are highlighted breaking points of one´s life. Unique element is old pink colour symbolising romantic feelings, whole colour combination suppose to evocate hope and nostalgia.
