Red colour as colour of youth and happiness was used by face painter in central part of model´s face. But girl on painting still keeps her serious look. Painter got inspiration from embroidered woman pinafore. Technicoloural stripes are essential part of this type of “parta”. In old days they used to be sended from America to Slovakia by working men to their daughters. Every bride was suppose to wear her own “parta”. Composed of small wreath with sewn on colourfull stripes. In front used to be stripe of cloth with eye shaped tiny pearls. Top of “parta” was made of small spiral shaped wires. Ribbons on back were made of card board packed in cloth added with 2 metres long stripes. Top ribbon layer was decorated with shine glitters ended up with ribbon. After wedding “parta” was packed up into cloth and put in painted chest.
